Day 3 – 5: Southbroom (approx. 250 km)
Southbroom is a small town about 150 km south of Durban, located on the Indian Ocean. The coastal area is also known as the Hibiscus Coast or the “Coast of Many Colors” due to its tropical vegetation and many banana and coffee plantations. Southbroom is characterized by golden beaches. Here, you will stay in a 4-star guesthouse right on the Southbroom Golf Course. For an additional fee, we can book a round of golf for you on the afternoon of your arrival. The next day, you will play golf on the San Lameer Golf Course, designed by Peter Matkovich, which features rolling landscapes with many lakes, waterfalls, and streams.
Day 5 – 7: Wild Coast, Port St. Johns (approx. 230 km)
Continue your journey to the Wild Coast. The coastal stretch extends from East London to Port Edward, covering about 300 kilometers. Your 4-star accommodation is located off the main roads, right on the ocean and at the mouth of the Umngazi River. Many activities are available, and dinner is included in the price.
Day 7 – 9: Wild Coast, Chintsa East (approx. 300 km)
Next, you’ll stay in a small, luxurious 5-star accommodation directly on the beach, separated only by a large dune. Your suite features its own private pool. Dinner is included in the price. On day 8, you’ll play golf on the Olivewood Golf Course, which is set in the beautiful, hilly landscape of the Wild Coast.
Day 9 – 11: Kariga Game Reserve (approx. 220 km)
You are heading to the malaria-free Kariega Game Reserve, a 12,000-hectare private game reserve. In addition to the Big 5, you can observe many other animals such as giraffes, zebras, kudu, lions, and more. Your 4-star superior Ukhozi Lodge is located in the heart of the reserve. You can participate in two safaris per day in an open jeep and enjoy full board with delicious meals. A safari experience like no other!
Day 12 – 15: Knysna (approx. 400 km)
The charming town of Knysna, known for its artists, bars, restaurants, vacation homes, and interesting shops, is nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and a large saltwater lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route.
Your 5-star accommodation is a boutique hotel offering views of Knysna and the lagoon. The next day, you’ll play golf at Pezula Golf Course and admire the sea views while golfing. If you’d like to golf on both days, we can also book the Simola Golf Course or another course for an additional fee.
Day 14 – 15: Oudtshoorn (approx. 120 km)
Oudtshoorn, the jewel of the Klein Karoo, is famous for its ostrich farms. Don’t miss a visit to the Cango Caves, a vast network of limestone caves. Your 5-star boutique hotel is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden and offers all the comforts you need.
Day 15 – 18: Stellenbosch (approx. 400 km)
Next, head to a 4-star accommodation outside Stellenbosch for three nights. Stellenbosch is South Africa’s second oldest city, with a very historic town center.
